White and Bright Welcomes…

For new White and Bright, LLP Associate Attorney Jacquelyn Zuniga-Calderon, the path to a legal career started long before law school. Her father, a small businessman, often turned to Jacky for assistance interpreting business and legal documents to help him communicate with his clients. Meanwhile, growing up in a community that, like her father, was aspirational and resilient but lacked access to much-needed legal help, further inspired her to become an attorney to advocate for those in need.

At White and Bright, Jacky is handling matters across the firm’s core practices, including Corporate and Business Law, Real Estate, Trusts, Estates and Probate, Employment Law and Litigation. She reviews and drafts business, real estate and construction contracts and other documents related to clients’ business ventures and real estate acquisitions. Her work supports real estate owners, developers and investors; landlords; small business owners; trust beneficiaries and families involved in trust or estate issues or probate.

Since earning her law degree a year ago at the William S. Boyd School of Law, Jacky worked at the San Diego Law Library, gaining valuable experience helping self-represented litigants and attorneys with legal research. While attending law school, Jacky was awarded a summer grant scholarship from the school’s Public Interest Law Association, which enabled her to work with the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada. She continued with the organization as a law clerk, assisting attorneys in civil, consumer, family and guardianship matters. She served the Legal Aid Society of San Diego after moving to San Diego.

For Jacky, the most rewarding part of practicing law is being someone her clients can rely on when they feel overwhelmed. She values communication, accessibility and practical solutions. She prides herself on being detail-oriented, trustworthy and responsive — always striving to provide clarity and peace of mind.

“White and Bright embraces all of the practice areas I am passionate about and reflects the values I admire: attentiveness, trust and strategic problem-solving,” she said. “I knew immediately this was the right place to grow my practice and to serve my community.”

“Our clients come to us not only for legal knowledge but for guidance they can rely on,” said White and Bright Co-managing Partner Frederick Pfister. “Jacquelyn’s background and passion for service make her a natural fit for that mission. She’s dedicated to helping clients feel supported and confident in every step of the process.”
