Michael Friedrichs Recognized as a 2018 Top Lawyer

Friedrichs' Law Practice

Friedrichs focuses his law practice on real estate and business litigation as well as commercial transactions. His experience includes real property law, construction law, commercial collection, and enforcement of judgments. Friedrichs has litigated cases through trial as well as effectively utilized methods of alternative dispute resolution, such as mediation and arbitration.

Friedrichs has represented buyers and sellers of real property, contractors, business owners, creditors, landlords, tenants, and victims of personal injury. He has represented clients through the purchase and sale of commercial real property, including pre-close of escrow issues and post-close of escrow disputes; construction-related issues including claims involving mechanic's liens; commercial debt collection, including prosecuting applications for right to attach orders; disputes over ownership and encumbrances to real property, including quiet title and partition claims; easement and boundary disputes; landlord-tenant matters; contract-related issues; enforcement of judgments; third-party personal injury claims; and uninsured motorists' claims. Friedrichs has also handled transactional matters, including drafting and revising commercial leases, buy-sell agreements, and business contracts.

Education and Memberships

Friedrichs earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of California at Santa Cruz and his J.D. from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, where he graduated cum laude and was Editor in Chief of Law Review. He is a member of:
