Attorney Elizabeth Baker Joins White and Bright

White and Bright, LLP is pleased to announce the addition of Elizabeth Baker as the firm's newest associate attorney. Ms. Baker will add to the firm's rapidly expanding trust and estates practice, specifically focusing on litigation, probate, and trust administration. Baker's extensive experience representing trustees, beneficiaries, and other interested parties will greatly enhance the firm's ever growing practice.

Baker frequently represents clients in will and trust contests, breach of fiduciary duty cases, accounting disputes, financial elder abuse matters, undue influence claims, removal and surcharge actions, and trust reformation or modification actions. She is also a Certified Public Accountant, having developed skills during her time practicing as a tax accountant at PricewaterhouseCoopers where she generated innovative strategies to best serve her clients. Baker enjoys her current practice because it allows her the opportunity to help people with their problems in a tangible way.

Baker's Previous Experience

Prior to joining White and Bright, Baker worked in the private wealth and fiduciary litigation practice group at a prominent international law firm, gaining experience at the firm's Los Angeles and Silicon Valley offices. She also worked in the corporate and finance practice group in the Silicon Valley office of a major international law firm where she represented investors and entrepreneurs throughout the life cycle of business ventures, including entity formation, venture capital financing transactions, and mergers and acquisitions. In addition to her transactional and litigation experience, Baker served as a judicial extern for the U.S. District Court in the Northern District of California.

Education and Background

Baker obtained her J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, where she received awards for Best Oral Argument and Written and Oral Advocacy. She obtained her B.S. at the University of San Francisco, where she received the Dean's Medal of Excellence and the A.A. Berti Award.

In her free time, Baker enjoys hiking and backpacking with her family and her corgi, Clovis. She also enjoys gardening, travelling, and collecting and growing rare fruit trees.
