Melissa Engle Recognized as Rising Star in 2021

Melissa Engle, a partner at White and Bright, LLP, has been named a 2021 San Diego Rising Star by Super Lawyers. This is the sixth consecutive year that Ms. Engle has been recognized with this award; this repeated recognition serves as a testament to Engle's expertise and outstanding work ethic.

About Super Lawyers

Each candidate is evaluated on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement, and selections are made on an annual, state-by-state basis. Prior to working at White and Bright, Engle worked with two other boutique litigation firms in San Diego, where her practice focused on civil litigation with an emphasis on employment, intellectual property, and business matters. She started her legal career focused on personal injury lawsuits as well as both personal and business reorganizations through Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcies. She also litigated various adversary proceedings on behalf of creditors. Engle currently lives in San Diego with her husband - a fellow employment law attorney - and their dog, Ted. In addition to practicing law, Engle serves as an adjunct professor at the University of San Diego School of Law, where she teaches multiple courses, including Legal Research and Civil Litigation.
