White and Bright, LLP, is pleased to announce the addition of two new associate attorneys: Tucker Phillips and Kalli Sarkin. These new hires reflect the firm's rapid growth.
Philips will add to the firm's real property litigation practice area. He has experience in litigation, having practiced personal injury defense, premises liability litigation, defense of governmental entities, and insurance coverage.
Phillips earned his J.D. from Chapman University Fowler School of Law in 2020, where he served on the Alternative Dispute Resolution competition board and represented Chapman University at several regional and national competitions. During law school, Phillips also assisted small business owners in settling long-standing disputes with the IRS through the U.S. Tax Court Clinic.
Prior to law school, Phillips earned a B.A. in marketing management from Hillsdale College, where he sat as Principal Cellist for the Hillsdale College Symphony Orchestra.
Sarkin will add to the firm's real estate and corporate matters, including entity formation, real estate and business transactions, and resolution of partnership disputes. She has experience in a wide variety of areas of law, including tort litigation, family law, and personal injury law.
Sarkin earned her J.D. from the University of California, Davis, in 2021, where she served on the Moot Court Honors Board and represented UC Davis in two national competitions, making it to semi-finals in her final year. Sarkin also served on the editorial board of the UC Davis Business Law Journal and as Director of the Business Law Journal Symposium.
Prior to law school, Sarkin earned a B.A. in Latin from the University of California, Los Angeles, where she graduated cum laude and as a member of the Honors Program.
The addition of these attorneys is a part of White and Bright's strategy for expansion. The firm has recently included new practice areas in its repertoire, and it is currently expanding its physical office to accommodate further growth.
